Após várias noites a tentar, com condições atmosféricas não muito favoráveis, finalmente consegui capturar a icónica Grande Mancha Vermelha (Great Red Spot) em Júpiter. Nem sempre tudo colabora, mas faz parte do processo e, apesar de tudo, fico contente com o resultado. ☺️ A Great Red Spot é uma gigantesca tempestade anticiclónica na atmosfera de Júpiter, observada há mais de 300 anos. Segundo a NASA, esta tempestade é grande o suficiente para engolir a Terra e apresenta ventos que podem ultrapassar os 400 km/h, embora tenha vindo a diminuir de tamanho ao longo das últimas décadas.
After several nights of trying under less-than-ideal atmospheric conditions, I finally managed to capture the iconic Great Red Spot on Jupiter. Things do not always cooperate, but that is part of the process, and even so, I am happy with the result ☺️
The Great Red Spot is a gigantic anticyclonic storm in Jupiter’s atmosphere that has been observed for over 300 years. According to NASA, this storm is large enough to swallow Earth and features winds that can exceed 400 km/h, although it has been shrinking in recent decades.

Nesta captura, consegui também registar as quatro luas galileanas: Io, Europa, Ganimedes e Calisto, um pequeno bónus que tornou este momento ainda mais especial (imagem disponível no meu site). ✨🌕
