Assim que tirei a primeira foto e vi esta nebulosa, fiquei maravilhado! E agora acabei finalmente o meu projeto da NGC 6888, também conhecida como Crescent Nebula!
Ao longo de quatro noites, consegui um total de 20 horas e 25 minutos de integração e estou muito feliz com o resultado final!
Finally, I’ve completed my project on NGC 6888, also known as the Crescent Nebula!
Over the course of four clear nights, I gathered 20 hours and 25 minutes of exposure time to bring out its delicate structures.
A Crescent Nebula e é uma nebulosa de emissão localizada a cerca de 5.000 anos-luz de distância, na constelação de Cisne. Formou-se a partir dos poderosos ventos estelares da estrela Wolf-Rayet WR 136, que colidiram com o material que a estrela havia expelido durante a sua fase anterior de gigante vermelha. O resultado é esta concha cósmica de gás brilhante, moldada por uma das estrelas mais extremas do universo.
The Crescent Nebula is an emission nebula located about 5,000 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus, the Swan. It was born from the powerful stellar winds of the Wolf-Rayet star WR 136, colliding with the material the star shed during its earlier red giant phase. The result is this cosmic shell of glowing gas, shaped by one of the universe’s most extreme stars.
