Na noite seguinte à captura do meu último projeto, decidi explorar o que o céu noturno tinha para oferecer e deparei-me com a C 11 (NGC 7635), também conhecida como Bubble Nebula. Não fazia a mínima ideia do que esperar e desconhecia totalmente este objeto. Após aguardar os 300 segundos (5 minutos) para a primeira fotografia ser “revelada”, fiquei maravilhado com o que vi: uma verdadeira bolha no meio do universo, rodeada por uma bela nebulosa. O cosmos é absolutamente fascinante!
On the night after capturing my latest project, I decided to explore what the night sky had to offer and came across C 11 (NGC 7635), also known as the Bubble Nebula. I had absolutely no idea what to expect and was completely unfamiliar with this object. After waiting 300 seconds (5 minutes) for the first photo to be “revealed,” I was amazed by what I saw: a true bubble in the middle of the universe, surrounded by a beautiful nebula. The cosmos is absolutely fascinating!

A sua forma característica, uma autêntica “bolha” cósmica, resulta do poderoso vento estelar proveniente de uma estrela jovem e extremamente quente, SAO 20575, com magnitude aparente de 8,7 e uma massa estimada em cerca de 15 vezes a do Sol, podendo variar entre 10 e 20 massas solares. Esta bolha encontra-se junto a uma vasta nuvem molecular, cujo gás e poeira são iluminados pela intensa radiação da estrela central, criando um cenário magnifico.
Its distinctive shape, a true cosmic “bubble”, is the result of the powerful stellar wind from a young, extremely hot star, SAO 20575, with an apparent magnitude of 8.7 and an estimated mass of about 15 times that of the Sun, possibly ranging between 10 and 20 solar masses. This bubble lies next to a vast molecular cloud, whose gas and dust are illuminated by the star’s intense radiation, creating a magnificent scene.
